At microsoft press conference, square mention infinity discovery as an exclusive game for the 360 right? But tell me why he failed to introduce star ocean as an exclusive? interesting how people claim microsoft won e3, but i have yet to see any microsoft exclusive game being talked about. So far we have seen killzone, infamous, little big planent and narotu.
i suspect that its going to be a constant beta like someone already said. Eric confirmed open beta this november. Its going to be a constant beta for like 2 years. And once its perfect i am afraid that sony may start charging for it, cause this free is too good to be true.

The only reason square is releasing ff13 for the xbox 360 is because of higher install base in NA. Square mentally right now is about making money, and they don't see money being made releasing ff13 on the xbox 360 in japan. Their no profit to be made in japan, xbox 360 sales are horrible in japan. With that being said, its a safe bet that ff13 will be the final nail in the 360 coffin in japan.

i think sony took it this year, with Microsoft in second followed by nintendo. yes is true Microsoft released a bomb, but ff13 is also going to be released for the ps3 and on top of that ff13 will be released exclusively for the ps3 in japan where it really mattered in my opinion. but Microsoft showing was not bad either with the new features they showed.
Sony also lowered the price of the 80gb version of the ps3. And the video download service is going to be awesome because of the psp ...

like i said in the previous post, and just like sony predicted the age of exclusive third party is over is over. Its all about in house studios now.
